Just a few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of meeting a selected group of talented directors, screenwriters, actors, producers and cinematographers who had travelled to London from across the globe, to attend the 33rd Edition of the Raindance Festival and see their nominated work premier on the big screen.
One by one, we welcomed each filmmaker to the Raindance Film School studios for a cup of tea and a chit-chat with our hosts, Asatuurs Keim & Josh Farrell, as we launched a brand new series of the Mighty Filmmakers Podcast: Raindance Festival Edition Episodes.
With its Oscar®-Qualifying status and renown industry reputation for independent cinema, Raindance is a must-see landmark for up-and-coming indie filmmakers, which made it all the more exciting for us to learn from our guests as they each broke down their creative processes into 5 steps of Filmmaking, building an arsenal of valuable guides for upcoming & established filmmakers alike.

Each filmmaker shared their own unique insight into a pocket of the industry – whether it was producing a feature on a micro-budget, blending live-action with animation, bringing Hong Kong cinema to the UK or overcoming the many hurdles of documentary filmmaking.
August will see the release of our first episode, with the subsequent episodes following every fortnight, featuring the following guests:
